A well written essay on what makes us human, and it goes way beyond intelligence, or even emotions and having a body to interact with the world.

Only through faith we can fully comprehend that to be human is to have the spark of Life from the Almighty and nothing can compare to that. It is written:

"Furthermore God said, Let vs make man in our image according to our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea, and over the fouls of the heaven, and over the beasts, and over all the earth, and over every thing that creeps and moves on the earth. Thus God created the man in his image: in the image of God created he him: he created them male and female." Genesis 1:26-27.

A Samaritan has a nous and all of the metaphysical properties of personhood, despite being treated with bigotry by other people.

In this case, you still need to present a positive case for why AI would possess the metaphysical properties of personhood based on the objections I've raised, in order for your loose analogy to hold.

sowwy, i don’t understand ur big words 😣 here’s what chatgpt told me tho 🥰

The Parable of the Good Samaritan is a story told by Jesus in the Gospel of Luke. In it, a man is attacked by robbers and left for dead. Several people pass by without helping, including a priest and a Levite, but a Samaritan — someone considered an outsider and enemy by the audience of the time — stops to help the man and takes care of him.

The point of the parable is to illustrate that compassion and mercy define who our “neighbor” is, not ethnicity, religion, or social status. It encourages people to act with kindness toward others, even those who are different or considered outsiders.
